beIN Sports App Redesign
A full redesign of the beIN Sports mobile app — improving navigation, content discovery, and live match experience for 3M+ subscribers across the GCC.
Overview
beIN Sports is the leading sports broadcaster in the MENA region. This project involved a comprehensive redesign of the mobile application to improve content discovery, match-day experience, and subscriber retention across iOS and Android platforms.
The Challenge
The existing app suffered from poor navigation hierarchy, inconsistent UI patterns, and low engagement with on-demand content. User research revealed that 68% of users opened the app only for live matches, missing a large content library.
The Process
Starting with in-depth user interviews and session recordings, I mapped the complete user journey from onboarding to daily usage. Wireframes were tested with 12 participants across Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE before moving to high-fidelity design.

Results
Following launch, the app saw a 34% increase in daily active users and a 52% improvement in average session duration. On-demand content engagement rose by 41%.
